Therapy for children
Individualised occupational therapy that meets each child where they are — supporting regulation, sensory needs, motor skills, play and everyday participation.
Amanda Kelly is a CORU-registered occupational therapist based in Portlaoise. Working closely with children and families, and training the practitioners who support them — grounded in relationship, regulation and developmental play.
That children develop best through warm, attuned relationships and meaningful play — and that the adults around them thrive with the right knowledge and support.
Individualised occupational therapy that meets each child where they are — supporting regulation, sensory needs, motor skills, play and everyday participation.
Practical training for therapists, educators and practitioners who want to work in a developmental, relationship-based way.
Parents and carers are central. I work alongside you with practical strategies you can carry into everyday life, so progress continues well beyond the therapy room.
My sensory room is built around movement, sensory experience and connection — with a suspended swing frame, therapy hammock, climbing wall, crash mats and a green plant wall that brings the outside in. It's a place where children can seek out what their bodies need, settle, and play in a way that feels safe and inviting.
